Eldercare Support Hotline
Support for the Eldercare Plan is a telephone-based (toll free) information and referral service designed to assist seniors and their family members in finding the resources, answers, and support necessary to meet and plan for the challenges of aging. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Housing Options: Residential care services, independent living, senior apartments, assisted living, Alzheimer's care, nursing homes, group homes, adult foster care, long term continuing care

In-Home Support Services: Home health care providers, homemaker services, companion services, in-home and skilled nursing care

Adult Day Care: Outside the home supervision, recreation, meals, and some health care for people who have physical or mental limitations

Transportation Services: Vans, buses and private drivers for the elderly

Meal and Nutritional Programs: Home delivery, community dining

Caring for the Caregiver: Respite programs, support and self-help groups, how to accept and enlist help

Referrals to Resources and Information: To aid in legal planning, trust, wills, estates, guardianship, alternatives to guardianship, advance directives (living wills), durable power of attorney for healthcare

The Cost of Caring: Resource information on services such as perscription medication programs, low cost hearing aids, long-term care insurance, social security
